Communication
Since taking office, I take great pride in making communication with members of our community, a top priority. In the last eighteen months I have attended over one hundred in person meetings requests from private citizens to listen to their concerns. I also make myself available on social media and encourage members of the public to tag me in posts or threads so I can answer questions and share accurate information. I do my best to answer emails and text messages in a timely manner and have helped connect many of our residents with a variety of resources. Besides my individual efforts, the city has taken great strides to improve communications in the following ways in the past eighteen months.
We partnered with a local digital media company to produce videos of current projects and events going on in our city. This content is shared on multiple social media platforms and on city information links.
Added a QR code to our utility bill so members of our community can visit a direct link on the city website with current and recently completed projects in the city.

Created specific branding on all of the city content created for social media, public information and city council meeting presentations. Our city logo emphasizes the amazing men and women we have working for the city and all their accomplishments.
